Under Western Skies is proudly brought to you by the Songwriters & Original Musicians Association Dubbo Inc (SOMAD).

SOMAD is a grassroots not-for-profit incorporated association founded by Dubbo musos with the aim of transforming Dubbo into a Music City.

Under Western Skies is a celebration of regional, original music.

Our region has an abundance of artistic talent – music, film, visual art, craft. We’re creating a music festival that can feature all of these vital elements in a family-friendly environment within the historic surrounds of Dubbo’s Dundullimal Homestead.
